Archicad 20 Speed Issues

Is anyone else experiencing general speed issues in 20?

Have only advanced one job up from 19 and (granted if does have a reasonable size mesh but) it is pretty slow on rebuilds, devastatingly slow on 3D generation and editing, and all round just not as snappy as 19.

Not the fastest rig, 3.2 i5 8gb OS X el capitan, but it feels slower than it should be.

Anyway to revert back to the old gui too? Finding everything a bit samey with the monochromatic interface, some of it looks nice but finding things is a bit of a pain.

So far the best features seem to be the graphical overrides and the 2 point perspective, but not sure if they make it worth the upgrade.

Just my $0.02 have scoured for info on all this but come up empty. Curious if anyone else is thinking similar.

Yeah the main problem is 3D generation. A marqueed area, 4x1m with a door, roof, couple of slabs, takes a good 30 seconds to generate in 3d.

But when you rebuild the entire building after doing that (with no mesh) it's almost instant, and remains instant when putting a marquee around different sections and rebuilding. Then after changing a few things on the model it goes back to slow town, I really don't understand.

It's like the first time it generates it's generating the entire model (regardless of what you have selected), is that how the background processing works? I thought it was more that the window (or tab) will keep itself up to date with changes you make elsewhere so when you go back to that tab it's almost instant (although that never seems to be the case for me).
