Archicad 20 lagging 2D interface

Hi everyone,
i have noticed a problem with the 2D interface of Archicad and don't find any solution. When using it with the standard interface, it works "fine" if nothing is draw. When i try to show few buttons in the palette, even only one, it starts lagging when moving and scrolling,... i can't work anymore and it's impossible to work with it... My computer is really powerfull and i have no problem with AC19. One more thing, this is only happening in the 2D windows, if i want to view in 3D windows there is absolutely no problem of lagging...
Any idea is welcome (alrealy try to activate and desactive hardware acceleration)... No effect at all.
I'm on windows 10 (moved to 10 because abvent service told me AC20 was not fully compatible with 7.... no improvement...)
Thank you

I have a similar problem. After checking various things like mouse frequency and updating video drivers I found the problem but nit yet a solution. I work on two screens, and everything is fine - no lag in 2D panning - but as soon as I have the Organizer palette switched on, the dreaded lag starts. Close that palette and the dreaded lag is gone. Unfortunately I have gotten very used to having that palette always open, so I haven't figured a workaround yet. Hope that helps.

Please bear in mind I have two screens that work in tandem. I have never had any issues with any other versions of ArchiCAD. As a test now I switched on every single palette. Nothing affects the 2D lag except for the Organizer palette and the Photorendering Setting palette. As soon as these two are off, 2D panning is a ok.

Any idea on a solution? I have started a new topic here. Every time Organizer is open...

I see you found the problem and possible solution.
All palettes need to be docked or turned off.

I will link to the original post here just so anyone else following this thread finds the same answer.

Barry.
Barry, the only Palettes that need docking for me are the Navigator and the Organizer. All other palettes seem to work fine floating around.

Thanks for that.
The renovation palette might be an issue as well if you are using that.

I haven't noticed any problems as I rarely use renovation or organiser palettes and if I do I close them.
And my navigator is always docked.

Let us know if you think any other palettes have an effect.

The preview of hotfix 4012(4009?) improves the 2d pan/zoom lagging (as far as i see).
