I get this error message when I try to install the latest update.
Archicad 27 isn't running. It happens even if I try to install the update right after restarting the computer. Other than the installer, there are no Archicad related processes showing in Task Manager.
The update appears to be faulty. Is anybody else having this issue?

Restarting machine was one of the first things I tried, before even posting.
Went full old school IT and uninstalled 27 completely. Fresh install let me install 27.2 update.

Could it be that Archicad is already on the latest build?
What is the Archicad build you are currently running? (For example, Ac27 build 5003.)
AMD Ryzen9 5900X CPU, 64 GB RAM 3600 MHz, Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB, 500 GB NVMe SSD

I don't think it is the update installer that has a problem
I updated just fine.
The question is why does it think Archicad is already running?
You say you have checked task Manager - so I can't offer much more than that.
Other than the old IT solution to fix everything - re-start your machine.
Barry.
