I usually set my units to Fractional Inches. When I try to move an element a fraction of an inch using the forward slash (i.e. 3/4) the input gets an undesired entry upon hitting the forward slash ("/"). This didn't happen in AC26. The glitch also happens on both Windows and macOS. To get the screenshot to show 3/4, I had to type /4 and then move cursor back to front and type the 3. It works and moves it 3/4", but I hate that solution. I can also use decimal (i.e. .75) but that isn't user friendly when inputting other fractions in decimal format. I hope this is an easy fix.

IIRC, "Freedom unit" makes reference to "Freedom Fries" which was the name one of the USA parties wanted to use for "French Fries" because the french were against the war in Irakā¦
So USA units vs Metric

Wow, I didn't know that, thanks for the info.

I have always use the slash for fractional inches as 1/8/ for 1/8". Does this not work anymore because of the "improvements" made described in this post? Tried using this recently and what I was typing reverts back to the original dimension. Not sure I was even aware of this "upgrade" until now.

Yes. Now it only works on specific items. Still not fixed.

This seems to have been fixed in AC28, if not in AC27.

It's working on my installation of Windows 11 with AC28. I think it also worked on my installation of AC27 in a later update too.
Maybe not fixed on the Mac version?

Nope, the bug still exists.
In some cases it works but the particular case that I wrote above which is the way I have used AC since V8 is still broken.
