Archicad very slow

Hello.
I am working on a file. It contains plans, which imply 3D elements, of course, and facades and sections, which are all 2D.
I have 10 layers, of which one contains the facades and sections, 2 versions of them (a total of 8 pieces). One of the most elaborate pieces contains 147.763 elements, mostly lines.
The file is 214 MB.
Working in it is difficult. How could I simplify the process?
Thank you a lot.

I'd be guessing that is is all the 2D lines that are slowing you down.

Thank you for your answer.
Yes, it is the 2D lines. I am wasting tens of minutes when trying to copy / duplicate some of these lines.
Is there a way to optimize the process?
Thank you.

Get the Check Duplicates goodie/addon to get rid of duplicate lines, because that many lines can't be right.

The addon can be installed from: help > archicad downloads

You can also try selecting lines, circles, polylines and using Linework Consolidation tool. I would divide this up into several takes, as doing that many at once, will most likely take forever or make ArchiCAD lock up.

Thank you very much.
The add-on idea is especially good.
