CI Tools broken since March 2026

Since updating CI Tools on my comupter, it no longer works at all. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Just broken. Pretty pathetic since I asked them to add some features last year which they never did, and instead "updated" the software to make it stop working on my system. Can't finish any of my work now. Yay.

PS: Using Archicad SE 2024 (which is based off Archicad 2027).

Operating system used: Windows 10

Had to speak with support over the phone, and yeah they've completely stopped supporting old legacy versions (even though they happily took my money) so I had to ask for the old versions via a zip. file in order to manually downgrade and be able to use them again.

It’s likely due to this known outage.

you will need to update to the later version of the add ons to rectify.

Not only did I fully update the Add-ons, but I even resetted the settings in the Ci-Tools updater, and reinstalled the entire thing.

Online a possiblility I've been given is:

Possible Start Edition Limitation

Because you're using Start Edition, some add-ons compiled for the full version of Archicad by Graphisoft may not load even if installed.

If that's the case, the plugin developer must provide a Start Edition compatible build.

That's purely speculative but what else could be the problem? Everything I have is upto date.

Have you reached out to CI support?

Yeah, worst response ever.

"HI Robert

I appreciate your assessment, however this has been an issue with the host site recently that has caused mass issues globally.

The solution has been included in an Update to the Tools, so to apply the fix, just run the Ci Tools Installer, and update the Tools for whichever Archicad versions you use."

And just to be clear, I've literally uninstalled both CiTools AND Archicad Compeltely, and redownlaoded both from fresh install files from respective websites.

Given that Graphisoft supports the latest 3 versions, it is far from ideal if addons by one of their regional resellers does not... Wonder if it has to do with all of the library changes that came with Libpacks...
