Constant 'random' refreshing.

I am having a problem with AC.

Seemingly at random, usually when I am not working with archicad I get a little hour glass symbol, and then the whole of archicad momentarily refreshes, like I am switching between applications, but of course I am not.

Does anyone have an answer to how I can stop this? It does actually interrupt partially completed commands, like drag a copy.

Frustratingly,

But you mentioned you got the hourglass symbol?
I always thought the autosave looked like a little bulldozer (on PC anyway) - unless this has changed in V9.0

So maybe this is not your problem after all?
I am beginning to think you are right as I dont get the bulldozer, I get the hour glass, and I have tried turning off all the saving options - it still happens!

Must be some setting in windows. Note to self 'must destroy microsoft'.

Super Arrrrgh!

Some of the other people in the office are having this problem as well. Does anyone out there have any idea how to stop this happening.

I am about to try not running other applications, one by one to see if this makes a difference.

If someone could help us that would be great.

Roolio,

Google your issue.. http://annoyances.org/ may have something.. My latest annoyance is for some reason, when I right-click a file any file it hourglasses for 5 seconds or so for the pallete to pop up.. seems trivial but very irritating.. I have searched far an wide and I cannot figure out what it is.. I suspect msn desktop search but there are no complaints anywhere on the net of this nature.. The larger the file size, the longer it takes, folders are instant.

This "MAY" help.. There may be an irrelevant service running that you could terminate... Besides, it is good to know what what all these mean..
