Disaster: Cant open recovered (deleted) thesis

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I deleted by miss click my thesis, and I have deadline in 30.6.2017. I cant open my thesis file, I tried everything... And Iam really desperate.

Can someone try to open my recovered thesis file in .PLN, and try to help me, to get my thesis back?

I have downloaded the file and tried to open it but it was unsuccessful.
There is not even version information in the file, it says it is in version 0.0.
There is also an Open and Repair option in the File Open Dialog, I tried that but it reported it that it could not repair the file.

I think if you do not have a backup copy of the file then you are in trouble because probably this file cannot be saved.

I'm not sure that anyone here can help, unless it is another student, as I believe EDU version files cannot be opened with a commercial version. I hope you can get GS to help, though.

Commercial Version can open EDU version but the file remains EDU.

Thank you for your replies gentlemens.

I will ask in school, if its possible to move with my deadline, and I will have to do it again from beginning...

Now I know i have to use backups and saving project on flash disk or something like that.

There should be a BPN file which is a backup of the last save of your PLN.
You can open these BPN files just like a PLN.

Is there anything in your operating system recycle bin that might be useable?
