Exposé problème (Mac OS X.sthing)

If you are in Story Settings and hit F9 you get the Exposé mosaic and from there there is no way back. (The Story Settings window does not show in Exposé, and when you click any other ArchiCAD window you get grayed menus and alarm sounds clicking anywhere.)

You can get back to your file taking a detour through some other program (click whatever in the Dock, and then click Dock back to ArchiCAD), but only after a few seconds of unnecessary panic, pain and anguish.

you're right that the 'Story Settings...' dialogue doesn't show in exposé, but neither do most dialogue palettes in non-apple applications. i can't remember whether they're described as modal or modeless or something, but one of these types of dialogue will never show in exposé's window tiling.

as for getting back to archiCAD, i have no problem clicking on any of the tiled archiCAD windows and exposé returns me to archiCAD with the 'Story Settings...' dialogue right in front of me. nothing greyed out - just as i left it . . .

I've seen this problem before. Not sure that it was the story dialogue box but definitely had problems getting back to a working archicad with expose. I have had luck by clicking on the icon in my dock and this seems to return me to the archicad intact with the dialogue box in front.

Just tried it using 10.4 and though you get a "Bong" sound or is that the "Funk" one it does not hang.
