Installation using company defaults and .xml paths

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have successfully used the ArchiCAD guide's instructions for doing a network install with company defaults set up automatically.

I used my machine to set the original preferences for library paths, and copied the appropriate .xml files into the installer directory. new installations now try to look for the archiccad libraries in the application folder ON MY HARD DRIVE. Since the path in the .xml file shows my machine, that's no surprise.

My question is this:
Is there "wildcard" sytax for .xml that I can use to edit the path name so it will look in the applications folder on any hard drive? I would assume that the "*" character is the one to use, but I don't know any .xml syntax.

Or:
Is that default path for the standard AC9 libraries even necessary to enter? Will the application automatically look in the right place if it's not in the .xml (as if I had installed without any preset defaults)?

In other words, will the xml change below work?:
I want to change "Macintosh HD" to a wildcard "*":

<LibraryLocations>lan.zone:///Macintosh HD/Applications/Graphisoft/ArchiCAD 9/ArchiCAD Library 9/ArchiCAD Library 9.pla</LibraryLocations>

Thanks,
Wes
