Hi,
I´m having a problem with the Archicad Grasshopper Live connection in my computer. My office currently uses AC24 and I need to make a project using GH.
I was having the AC 24 bug that a lot of random words appeared in the plugin. I was able to fix it updating my AC24. But since I was working with teamwork I had to unistall and install a older version of AC so I wasn´t blocking my other collegues to join the project. Now I´m back in the latest version of Archicad but I keep on getting this warning from the AC GH live connection installer
I have already uninstalled everything and downloaded the latest upadate from the Graphisoft webpage but nothing seems to work and I have no ideia of what is happening.
Please help me figure this out so I can continue to work in this project 🙂

Hi Rubia,
Thank you for the reply, I manege to figure out a solution. I had to restore my notebook before I reinstalled AC24 to a prior version.
Best regards from Brazil!

Hi Rodrigo,
Thank you for your query. I did a bit of research on your case and I am afraid it will need further investigation, analysis of the logs on the C:\ProgramData\Install.GS folder. I recommend you reach out to your local technical support. Based on your name, I supposed you are in Brazil.
You can reach support via this link.

Hi all,
I'm facing the same issue on macOS, is there a way to solve this other than restoring the OS?

Hi, I don't have ideia about other solution 😞
What I can tell you is that the restore process on windows was not a diffult process (consider that I had never done this before)
best regards,
Rodrigo

Hi @furtonb,
I'm sorry to hear about your issue. My recommendation is to make sure that every Grasshopper-Archicad connection has been uninstalled before you install the desired one.
Please update me if you have new information/details to share.

Hi @Rubia Torres,
I've deleted all the AC-GH add-ons from the /Applications/Graphisoft/Archicad 2x/Add-Ons folder for all the installed Archicad instances. I've also deleted the add-on from the GH special folders, it no longer shows up in Rhino7 or RhinoWIP.
Any other places that I should look for? It still doesn't install with the same message as above in the thread starting post.

Hi @furtonb,
Every Grasshopper-Archicad Connection installer creates an uninstaller under the Archicad folder. Please run this file for each undesired version.
The presence of the previous (or any) version is detected from the registry/preferences which should be cleaned by the uninstaller 😉
Cheers,

I don't see an Uninstall.GC folder, I have Uninstall.AC and Uninstall.GD (which I assume stands for the Goodies):

Hi @furtonb,
In this case, please contact your local technical support. We recommend you send the /Users/Shared/Install.GS folder content to the team (installer log files) for further investigation. They should point where the software has found another version of the Grasshopper-Archicad Connection.
