Keyboard shortcut symbol help needed

What key is that? Shift + ??????

On the PC the default is the button on the far left side, below the ESC and above the TAB (the 'tilde' button perhaps?). You can change it if you want in the work environment keyboard shortcuts.

Using Microsoft Word, Insert Character Palette, for the Times font it is input by typing Option-6 (I don't think the menu fonts are Times, so this is just an example), so this may have come up when someone was using the Option key when modifying the Keyboard Shortcuts (trying to use Shift-Option-6?). Take Peter's advice about the Work Environment to alter this.
