Just realized that the Area List addon, which was available only for DE,AU,GR versions, has been integrated in the INT version of 28.
There was no announcement for this or at least I haven't seen it.
I saw the folder in the main installation folder and not inside the addons folder so I had to add it manually.
Are we expecting other addons to be included gradually....
Nice move.
Operating system used: Windows

Thanks for pointing this out. Is there any documentation available?

Hello, can you share the file directory?

I am not adding it in the addons folder, because this is the default installation folder structure so in the following updates it might not be updated accordingly.

This is interesting because in my Archicad 28 INT installation, I do not see the "List Areas" folder anywhere within the Archicad installation or the Add-On Manager.

I do not know if this was included in an update or the instalation file of Archicad is IP depended.....
We might need some more official info for this.
I am also insterested, because I was asking for the certain addon for several years.

Hi All,
Yes, this add-on is available in the AC28.1.0 Preview release as part of the INT package. It has been present in some other language versions before and includes specialized room area calculations following specific rules, along with related schedules and reports.
To use it, youāll need to manually load the add-on. A Help document will be available soon with more details.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Regards,
Gabor

It would have been usefull for this addition to be included in the release notes of 28.1.
How we were supposed to find out!
Any plans for other localised addons???

Hi,
You're absolutely rightāit would have been helpful to mention this in the release notes. The decision was made to focus the notes on broader changes, but we see how this could have been valuable information. The good news is that the Help document will include details on the add-on, making it easier to find and use. We'll also take your feedback into account for future updates to improve transparency on such additions!
Regarding other localized add-ons, weāre continuously assessing how to make region-specific tools more widely available. If there are particular add-ons you'd like to see integrated, feel free to shareācommunity feedback plays a big role in shaping our roadmap!

Gabor

One addon that would really impact the user experience is "2D extras" Some of the function should be the core part of the Archicad.
