Mouse Recommendation

I'm looking for a recommendation for a good mouse that will work with AC. I used to use the "Mighty Mouse" by Apple but the little roller ball gets gunked up on me after much use and is hard to clean.

I've been using a Logitech M305 mouse (now on my second one), but the middle button stops panning after a couple years. It seems the ability to push the button down for panning gets broken.

I scroll and pan all day and when I can't I feel dead in the water! I hate using quick keys for those two functions.

Needs: middle button, simple right and left click. Do not need a large fancy ball and 80 buttons. Wireless is preferred but not required. Needs to hold up to 40 hours a week of clicking scrolling and panning!

Any suggestions?

This is my weird recommendation.

Apple Magic mouse using Better Touch Tool with "Two Finger Click" defined as "Middle Click".

I too use the Apple Magic Mouse, but with Magic Prefs.
(Help Center article HERE).

Also, Link (ArchiLink) recommend the Logitech M705 in a recent post.
