Moving from AC8.1 to AC11

We are in the process of migrating from version 8.1 directly to 11.0. We aren't changing the hardware end of things.

Are there any issues we need to be aware of? Any tricks?

Thank you

That's three versions. The changes are really big. To utilize them properly, take an upgrade course at you're reseller's. It should pay for itself in no time.

ANY?

Crossing AC10 means MANY.
Don't go trial & error, take a decent upgrade course for full awareness and you will stay a happy AC user...

Once you get over the steep learning curve, you'll never want to go back!

The "ArchiCAD 10 New Features Guide" that came with AC10 is a must -- see if your reseller can get you a copy.

The AC 9 New Fatures Guide was also very comprehensive. Maybe that should be your first step if you upgrade from 8.1 (just to keep a gradient approach).
