Hello, I am upgrading from 11 to 12 and all is well except for the key upgrade page. I have tried safari and firefox and what I get is a blank white page after it redirects.

But, you from Safari, you have to respond that you trust the site certificate. If you don't even get that, you may have to adjust your security preferences.
