I think either 1050 cards would be good. I have a 1060 GeForce, which has a bit more performance, an I am very satisfied with it. But the 1050 would be also good for ARCHICAD in my experience.
AMD Ryzen9 5900X CPU, 64 GB RAM 3600 MHz, Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB, 500 GB NVMe SSD
2x28" (2560x1440), Windows 10 PRO ENG, Ac20-Ac28

But for 1050 GeForce also it din't worked. We tried 3 laptop's having GeForce with 950, 1050 and other one. The BIMx din't worked. Later we checked for AMD Readon with i5, 64 bit machine windows 10, There it worked without any problem. So we came to known that the GeForce video card will not support for AC 18. Even our other customer has laptop with GeForce there also the BIMx will not work.
This GeForce is not recommended by GS for AC 18.
We tried re-installing many times but it dint worked.
Thank you

From memory there is a GEforce Experience program that is installed by default and runs automatically.
Go into your Control Panel > Programs and Features and remove this program.
Barry.

It is installed by default when installing the video drivers.
It is not needed and has been known to interfere with Archicad.
So delete it as I mentioned in the previous post.
But if you have change laptops (video cards) you won't have that problem.

I still have other Nvidia programs installed with no problems.
