Roof fill disappearing from elevation

As the subject title says my roof fill is disappearing from my elevations. I have done a search of the existing topics already but this seems to be a unique problem.

Things I have already tried without success
- 'rebuild' in elevation
- cut and pasting the same segment in plan view to manually refresh
- moving the elevation marker in plan view to manually refresh
- moving the roof segment in elevation above the roof line, letting it refresh, then dragging it back into position. This is partially successful but disappears again after updating it on the plotting layout.

Any ideas - any at all would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me crazy.

Any chance you have accidentally copied and pasted? These issues often arise when you have two (or more) elements in the same space.

No I only cut and pasted - not copied.

Update: I ended up redrawing the problem sections as a quick-fix solution.
