Simple laptop vs. Powerful laptop?

Hi, all.
For Archicad 16, does it make much difference if your laptop has a lower gaming video card, vs. a higher one?

For example, a Radeon 6520G vs. a GTX 660m...
(I know I read somewhere that lower onboard cards, like the Intel HD 3000, aren't recommended.)

Thanks!

Or let me just ask this: will ANY new laptop run Archicad 16 just fine, if you aren't working on massive projects?

Edit: whoa, my replies appear at the TOP of thread. Never seen that before in a "normal" forum, and I'm member on over 100 of them.

This is a preference you can set. Go to your profile.

As for the lap top, it sounds as though you are using a windows based machine so there are a lot of variables but generally, ArchiCAD will benefit from a reasonable video card and a lot of RAM. If you do a search there was a video that Graphisoft put out a year or two ago that went through the basics. While a little old the same concepts apply.

Thanks for the help.
Actually, I already looked over the official video cards article, but came away still not understanding if the average user would do fine or not using a cheaper laptop from this year.
