Tracing Images in Archicad

I'm doing a siteplan and I have a line drawing of the site as a jpeg image. Is there a way I can bring this image into Archicad or view it as the background of my floor plan so that I can trace it's contours?

YES,
You can place the mage on your plan and just trace it with line tool, walls etcIf the drawing is not to scale, you can either resize the tracing to a known dimension and check it against the known original or save your Jpeg as a bitmap, greyscale and and resize it to scale in ArchiCAD and then trace it.
