Imported Images (.jpg or .png) exports darker while publishing to .pdf

Hello, is there anybody that would know why the images we put in our layouts get darker once we publish them to .pdf? As an example, we are doing a set to submit to permit and have to link render that were done outside of archicad. Those images are linked to the archicad file directly in the layout book, then we publish all the layout book including 2D plans and linked images.

It seems this as become more intense in the later (28) version of archicad, but we started noticing it in Archicad 27.

Thank you,

This seems to be part a wider problem of Archicad (see https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/General-discussions/Feature-request-Colour-Management-Archicad-w... ) but unfortunately there's not enough complains. When I dealt with Mac I remember the only way of export a faithful  reproduction was by printing to PDF using the native mac print dialog. It's not exactly a good solution because the PDFs are then too big.

There is another post somewhere regarding colour representation of imported images containing some tests they did and I think it had a reply from GS.
