It is certainly possible to use ArchiCAD 10 on 10.5 (and 10.6) - I use versions as old as AC7 on these systems. To install, however, make sure you have the version to match your computer, i.e. install the Intel version if you have an Intel-based Mac. I think the installer will refuse to work on the wrong platform (even though the software will actually work).

Also, see this thread:
how to determine the version of AC 10 on Mac?

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

From memory the Intel Mac Install and the Power PC install came on separate DVDs. So you may have to get in contact with your reseller who may be able to find the correct one for you.

At least for US users, the Intel installer for AC 10 was a download. Perhaps some resellers burned disks for some of their clients, but this Wiki article does refer to a separate CD:

The US MacTel 10 installer was available on the old GS US tech support download site, but I cannot get that site to load right now. Assuming it is a temporary problem, try this link:

(This will not help if you need an INT version with the main floor as story "0".)

Cheers,
Karl

PS Duh. Just noticed the original question is more than a month old. Maybe this will help someone else...
