I recently installed Archicad 18. Since doing so i have had serious issues with Archicad 16. Can anyone please explain what is going on. By the way, the pln file is fine as it opens and runs perfectly fine on my second computer which doesn't have 18 installed as of yet. It also opens and runs on version 18.

Just what are these "serious problems"?

Hi Erika. The program is jumpy and when i put on trace reference it is even worse to the point where its not practical to work on. I have tried re installing and it hasn't solved the problem. As it only started happening since i installed 18 I am thinking that has to be the cause. All the other versions 17 and 14 work perfectly fine and I can even work on the 16 plns in version 18. As previously mentioned my home computer with the same specs works perfectly fine but I haven't installed 18 yet and am worried about doing so. Some one mentioned that maybe a Java or Quicktime update may be the issue but I wouldn't know if that was the case and if so how to overcome it. I hope you have a solution.

You should add into your profile your hardware specs and versions of AC that you are using. I have no idea whether you are on mac or pc and which OS you are using.

If you are on Yosemite OS then only AC17 & 18 work well per Graphisoft.
I keep one computer not upgraded so I can more easily use files from previous versions of AC.

I'm still not clear what you mean by Jumpy.

Also, Perth in which country?
