I don't accept your explanation.
It is true that in archicad you have to zoom way in o see any line weight differences but even then the weights are not accurately presented.
I don't have to zoom in like that in other programs like say illustrator, photo shop, rudimentary 2d drawing programs.
Also, isn't it interesting that that in plotmaker, on that same low res screen, i don't have to zoom in at all : the line weight differences are completely apparent.
Its a problem that should be fixed.

at 100% zoom, display options set to true line weight all the line weights look the same even though the pen weights as set in archicad are very different. i've checked the manuel and it says i should see the difference. i do not.
in plotmaker i see the difference. but not in archicad. i don't see how setting archicad and plotmaker pen weights the same would change this situation. my problem is in archicad, not plotmaker.
