i am seeing the 'ghosting' effect each time i made a change to an object. it disappears as soon as i zoom out...i saw it somewhere in the settings but can't seem to find it. if someone knows what i am referring to, please help me to find the setting to turn it off...

Llian, see attached. Suggest you open and explore all menus to get familiar.
Coming from 4.5 there is just no way to compare anything at all. You are in fact
learning new s'ware from scratch almost.

You will find in time that you will develop your own Work Environment. Here you
will revise much of how you wish to work, see attached.

yes i am well aware about that....and not giving up yet to learn it all over again though i must say it is taking alot longer than the first time i learn to use archicad without the world of internet.

as for the ghosting effect...there is no trace below. it is when i modify an object say a wall shorter, the previous longer wall will show up a little while until i rebuilt or zoom out.
