no USB port for code meter key

Anyone dealt with how to plug in the code meter key when there is no USB port?

Recently purchased a new MacBook pro laptop with the following ports: 

Three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI port, SDXC card slot, MagSafe 3 port.

Is the an adapter that the code meter can plug into that would work around?

We use the software licenses on all of our MacBooks.

I either use my wired apple keyboard (has 2 usb ports on the side of it) or use the USB C hub that has multiple outlets.  You can also purchase small USB C to USB A adapters on amazon.  They've all worked good for me.

just purchase a USB4 to USB2 cable

If you were going to specifically look for a USB4 male, you would want more than a USB2 female on the other end. You would want a dock with a DP out at minimum else you would be wasting your money...

Sorry keep forgetting. I have a Mac studio which has 6 various USB-c ports of various flavors + 2 USB -a ports. This is luxury after my old MacBook Pro of 2013!!!!. So with my key and Bluetooth mouse in the 2 USB-a ports I still have 4 thunderbolt and 2USB-c ports free. Couple of cables is cheaper than a hub..
