ever since I started to use a second monitor with split screen connected to my labtop I have been having trouble with tool bars and palettes. Currently my quick layers palette and drafting aids tool bar are gone...floating in cyberspace somewhere I guess. Sometimes I am able to fit this problem when I reconnect my monitor but not always. Is there a way to center all tool bars and palettes or something?

You should define two different work environments, one when you are connected to the 2nd monitor and one when you are not. You should reset AC to before you define the 2 WEs.
