Bug: Arch-Top Transom Door Issue

Anonymous
Not applicable
Are there parameters missing in the new v12 Settings windows?

I can't set the spring point for the arch, and the door comes out REALLY funky on the elevations (you'll notice all the green indicating the selected object, which is ONLY the one door). What did I do wrong?

David-

Editing that particular parameter away from the stock size is what fubars the door.

I've tried that at the spring height and at the total height, and have edited the transom height... nothing appears to bring the arch-top transom back into reality. Editing the transom height first turns the door into an error message.

I just discovered "shoulder height" at the top of the whole parameter list, but it's still screwy (tho perhaps less so...). I've set the hole height at 10', the shoulder height at 9', and the transom height at 1', and the preview is still askew.

OK... after poking at several parameter settings (opening dimension, shoulder height, leaf height, transom height), I think I got it together proper.

Thanks y'all, sorry for running you around when it was all there (just in unexpected places).

Jocelyn:

Glad you got it working for you.

I believe it is correct that the leaf size is controlled by the "A" (width) and "B" (height) parameters (which can appear elsewhere in the part's dialog box, as they do here under D1 Segmented Transom USA Settings > Door Size Settings > Nominal Size). These are typically in US practice the size of the door (frame not included, though there are exceptions), and are also the sizes that appear in the Info Box. When I am editing the size of the door via the Info Box, I expect the leaf size to change, not some other parameter.

My 2 cents.
