Cavity Closer

Hi,

I'm trying to use the prefabricated cavity closer in a masonry cavity wall, but for some reason the closer keeps coming out too big and going over the inner skin of clockwork, whereas I'd like it sit sit only in the cavity.

Hopefully the below will illustrate the problem better!

Any ideas?
