Hi, I have been making up a number of 2D objects that we use frequently, and have saved the selections from a worksheet as objects. That is all working fine. It would be good to have a preview that looked like the object, to make it easier to select. I have tried various ways to do this but cannot get any files jpg, tiff etc etc to copy and paste into the preview picture window.
I've trolled the forum, but nothing seems to work.
Is it the fact I am using ArchiCAD 17 Solo or am I missing something obvious.
Please can anyone assist.

Hi,
That works fine until I get to the Preview picture window and try to paste the drawing into it.
I get a dialogue box warning stating "The Clipboard is empty, use Cut or Copy!"
I try this but same result.
By the way I am working in in OS 10.9.1 on my iMac.

Here is an old message that may help.

http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=95072

By default copying something in Archicad does not place an image in the clipboard.
There is a registry key (PLIST I think on Mac) that can be changed to fix this.

Or use a screen capture program to copy the image to the clipboard.
Then you will be able to paste in the image preview of you object or the project preview of you PLN file.

Thanks for everyones help, the simplest way seems to be to use the grap tool in the mac OS and simply select the image/drawing/picture required and copy and paste it into the picture preview box.
Thanks again.
