Complex profiles are not intersecting

Anonymous

Ive started to use complex profiles to create a skirting, however the external junctions do not appear to join correctly. Will I need to do these by creating a 'morphed' object that uses the same profile but goes through a 90 degree bend.

You mean a complex profile with the profile manager?
Should work.
Otherwise turn on 'Suspend Groups' and select both parts and press 'Intersect'.
When the don't join correctly they are probably not lined up correctly to eachother.

Hi,

You're probably using a wall to create skirting and you have overlapping reference lines of the main wall and the 'wall' used for skirting. I would recommend using beam for the skirting - you'll avoid the intersection issues.

You could also make use of 'Intersection groups' of layers. Place skirting on a separate layer and give that layer different intersection group from wall layer (e.g. 2) and it will not join with wall. (Don't use "0" it will not join with itself)
