Curved bend beams tube tubular form

Hi

I am having trouble creating a curved tubular beam
When I try the truss maker (which seems like the best place to start) the beam comes out in large straight sections nothing like the curved line I started with.

I have made a circular profile but i cant seem to make and curved form with a profile.

The ready made curved beams are rectilinear in profile.

I hope that someone can help?

Thanks

You have run into a resolution problem.

Increase your magic wand setting for more facets.
Then remake the profile.
Perhaps trussmaker doesn't do curves well - I don't use it much.

Profiler is an option.

Alternatively:
Try to make this beam with a curved wall.
Walls have high resolution in curves.
If you need a round tube, use the log wall tool.
Set the log diameter to your tube diameter and space the logs beyond touching. Make a wall only as high as the tube.

Thanks for your help.
Some good ideas.
I tried the curved wall but i cant seem to make a curved wall with a profile.
The log wall is something i didnt try, but it also wouldnt let me make a curved wall.

So the best way i have so far is using a circular hollow profile and draw straight walls in lots of sections along a curved line.
