Custom Electrical Symbol

I am trying to make an Electrical Symbol of my own. And i have tried the easy way:
-Draw in lines the simple object/symbol
-Select all the lines/fills
-File - Library and Objects - Save Selection As - Object
-Type Name - Browse for Folder

But when i load the Folder in my Library, my object has no Icon/Symbol. However, in 2d it works just fine.

With GDL i cannot add anything in 2D Symbol...

You will need to open the library part and then add the image you want to see for the file icon in the "Preview" dialogue window.

Let me know if you need a screen shot of where to go - I don't have Archicad running at the moment.
