Custom Holes in walls

Trying to get some custom objects made for a project I'm working on and I need to make a reinforcement bracket. I can't figure out how to get it drawn up.

Can you post some pictures off what you try to do?
Version of ArchiCAD?

I'm out of town until Sunday. Best way I can describe it is it's a square plate and in the middle it has a 12 inch ring with cross supporting the ring in the middle coming out of the corners of the square. I'll keep looking for a photo until I get back. I can get it a slab but I couldn't find a way to rotate the slab vertically. I tried to upload a photo but it wouldn't go. I'm using archicad 17.

Either make a tall skinny slab or use a wall?

To rotate a slab you will need to convert it into a morph (version 16 and above) or use an add-on like Objective.
Or it could be saved as an object and you can add your own ROT (rotate) commands in the 3D script.

ROT X or Y or Z (or all three).

Since you're using 17, you should just use the Morph Tool to build this. You can model it in any plane, so no rotation would be necessary ... or model it however convenient and then rotate the Morph freely in 3D. Edit: Missed Barry's post offering this option... as well as ROT if you're scripting in GDL for a parametric object. If non-parametric, just go for the Morph IMHO.

When you try to upload a photo, you'll see the allowable formats and sizes - both pixel W x H and gross file storage size. When an upload fails, you'll see a not-very-obvious message explaining what went wrong.

Lastly: why is your topic entitled "custom holes in walls" if you're trying to create a reinforcement bracket?
