Custom panel door-window disappearing in AC12-14

When i make an custom panel with File->Libraries and Objects->save Custom Compenent-> Custom Panel Door or Custom Window Panel. It's makes with no problem, but when i go to door-window properties to custom panel and i give the option to custom panel, in 3d it's apear empty, no customize.

Can I give to a one of sheet roof (one sheet, not the all roof, just at one sheet of roof) two slopes (inclinations) in the same time. I know I can give one slope but two slopes in the same time!?

I think you will need to give more information to get answers to your questions. Pictures would help.

Re: Roofs. Each roof pitch can have only one slope. Multiple slopes require multiple sections of roof.

Are you sure you saved the Component into a loaded library?

Each piece of roof can only have one slope (plane). For two slopes (planes) you need to create two roofs then join them.

You may be right, i will se if it's in the loaded library.

About the roof, I had seen that in arhicad it's can have just one slope, not two, but here in romania are many anomalies at houses, i do not critical anyone, but it's ugly.

Can be a wises to arhicad to make a plane of roof with two slops? or we do not need this?

thanks all for fast answer. i have uploaded the imagine Matthew.

Jonyybe,
Sounds like you are trying to make a roof that slopes from back to front and side to side at the same time.
This is still a roof with one slope only but the roof pitching line will not be parallel to any of the edges.
The hard thing is to work out at what rotational angle this roof pitching line actually has.

Fortunately drawing the roof in 3D is very easy.
Set up walls to the heights you want the roof surface.
Then in 3D draw the roof.
The first two points you choose shoul be diagonal to each other.
This will be the pitching line.
The third point you choose will determine the pitch of the roof.
Then you draw the polygon (or rectangle) for the shape of the roof.

Regarding the custom panel, I find this option totally inconsistant. I often try to make custom panels as the Archicad library is so lacking. (Yes, I have Door/window builder, but some of my clients don't want to purchase additional software.) Last week, working on a teamworked project, I created a simple panel, save it to the embedded libary, but the window couldn't find any custom parts, so I saved to another library, reloaded and it still couldn't find it. Even restarting, reloading etc etc didn't help. I have used it several times, so I know it works (sometimes), but it's inconsistant. I've also used it on a large project (300+windows) till the final set of drawings needed printing, I updated all the drawing.......oops, couldn't find the custom panel!!&*%$^%$&^*%*! Sorry for the rant....it's hot and sticky in Sydney at the moment

Home i had look and it was loaded, and it's appear, but i will play with it and see what it's happening, appearing-disappering, i will see and say what's hapening.

Barry,

Sounds like you are trying to make a roof that slopes from back to front with a inclination and side to opposite side slopes with another inclination at the same time.

I didn't understand what did you said there.

LE: Barry what did you do in the both picture it's simple to do, i think you do not understand, or i do not explain right.

One roof with 2 slopes, that has 3 hights, first the it's the highest (point), second it's medium(point), and last it's the lower hight(point). i will put an picture this week.

As per the original image it is one roof that appears to slope in two directions.
It really is still only sloping in one direction but at an angle.
This one is sloping down from back to front and also left to right at the same time.
The front right corner is the lowest point on the roof.
The back left is the highest.

Or do you want one roof plane that changes pitch?
This is simply two separate roof planes.
