D1 20 USA 'Simple' detail level 'simply' wrong

A 3 ft door shown with detailed, medium, and simple detail level. At 'simple', door opening takes over the jambs, door dimension and sweep get wider, opening dimension floats in space (these are 3/4" jambs —it would be more obvious with thicker ones, doors will bump into toilets, etc.). I would think this is not the way it should be, right?

Try setting the frame width to zero. Seemed to work for me. Not sure about the opening dimensions. It does seem kind of odd though that the standard library part wouldn't do this automatically. Maybe a small oversight on the author of the part.

Frame width to 0 will obviously not work in the medium and detailed views, where I want to see the frame. This is just a big screwup.

Dear Ignacio,

Actually, it works as it was designed to work. Our definition of a "simple view" was to have just the door opening and draw the arc in it (disregarding the frames completely). This usually is not a problem, as most people use this kind of representation at bigger scales, where the difference is negligible (1:200-1:500).

Still, I can totally understand what you mean, the arc won't match the arc of the real door like this. I have notified the designers about this. Thanks for the input.
