I'm not sure why you made this a poll. The answer is yes and no. Metal doors yes, wood doors no.
This is a big oversight in my opinion, but there are other problems with the SE 9 library which are not so much the fault of the creators but with the gap between their ambitions and the limits of GDL. While investigating an error in 3D (caused by an untrapped parameter problem) I discovered that the offending trim macro contained over 3000 lines of code in the 3D script.
I have mixed feelings about using the SE9 library. On one hand it does do a lot of cool things, but the resulting complexity leads to strange errors and getting all the parameters set the way you want can be a bit daunting (thank heavens for the syringe tool).
I think the only real solution is going to be an overhaul of GDL but I haven't the time to go into that right now.
