Find and select duplicates

Whatever happened to the nifty find and select duplicates tool that existed under AC 8.0?
It has been badly missed under in 8.1!

Does anyone know how such functionality can currently be achieved?

In the "Goodies" folder - that was a lot of pain for no good reason!

I don't understand why this one isn't in the default add-ons folder. Are there some risks associated with it that new users should be protected from?

Yea. It's the same with the Intersections in Combos add-on. For a new comer to ArchiCAD 8x, especially coming from ArchiCAD 7.0 and down, it can be quiet frustrating when some of your walls have no clean intersections.
Thinking that the clean intersections has been turned off only to find out that there is a new function in the ArchiCAD layer settings called Intersections in Combos.
It would be nice if ArchiCAD, when opening a pre ArchiCAD 8 document,automatically recognizes that the project is pre 8 and automatically opens the Intersections in Combos add-on.
