I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking anything, but the drag-to-generate-script function has changed with AC27 script editor upgrades. To clarify, my workflow would typically be to draw 2D elements in the 2D symbol window of my library part, select these elements and drag them into the 2D script window. This would generate all the 2d elements as scripted parts and was a great way of generating information edit further. It was also a good way to record profiles/paths should I need to edit the part later as it would be saved with the library part. Now it seems that this function is no longer available in the GDL editor and has been replaced with the “Generate 3d/3d script, based on floor plan selection”. Is this the only way to generate script scripts from manually drawn elements? Has the previous feature been deactivated/superseded or am I missing something?
Operating system used: Windows 11

Correct.
Old procedure no longer works in 27.
Was discussed here just a little while ago.

I think the button replaced the drag&drop functionality

Thanks, Miha. I was aware of this button but it is slightly different and not as streamlined as the workflow in earlier versions.

Thanks, Barry. It's a shame to lose this functionality but onward and upward.
