Gothic Details

Can anyone tell me where I can get gothic details such as pointed arched windows and doors? Archicad only has a pointed arch empty opening 😞

I hate to day it but they were useless. I had to have the guy there convert them to 10 after buying and getting an error that they were only for v6. The arched door does not allow the frame to be customized. The door panel is not customizable nor can you turn it off.

The windows do not have a single large opening which one could place a custom panel and glass. I can't get this window to render without the glass being red. I will have to ask for a refund unfortunately.

At this point I am trying to creat something with slabs and profiles and save as objects.

I am sorry to hear that. I guess your only option
is to make them your self as auto-scripted objects.
In the GDL Cookbook 3, David Nicholson-Cole shows
how to script a parametric Gothic window.
Just today on GDLTalk he posted that he was
considering putting the GDL Cookbook 3 on a free web site.
I hope he does because it is an excellent book and is much needed.

That woud be great! I am under a deadline and have to make do. I really assumed Archicad had pointed arch windows and doors built in. Sorry I came down hard on your product. Maybe you could expand the line up...

As annoying as it is, if you read your EULA, there are no refunds. The only thing GS is liable for is a replacement disc if yours is defective.

the EULA even states that the software does not have to run or be useful for a certain purpose! (good reading in there, but not nearly as fun as some others out there)

No! I am talking about the gothic objects I bought from Objects Online. I am used to archicad having limited included library objects
Still since there is a gotic blank opening object and many arched windows and doors - why couldn't they give the option to make them pointed arches?

Those windows and doors are not my product.
I don't know who wrote them or when and
I never bought any of them so I did not know
about their limitations.
