The 2D profiles "DET_Stud 27 and DET_Mtl Stud_01 27" library parts are no longer available in Archicad 28. They were not converted over to the new version. I would like to know if they are going to be in the future? This is a big miss in my opinion. We all use 2D details in our sets still and these tools save a lot of time on drafting. The only tool I've found so far for a wood stud substitute is an "X-Box Symbol" but the intented purpose for this tool is to highlight openings in walls, roofs, and floors. I'm pretty sure it wasn't intended to be used for 2D profile detailing. Does anyone have suggestions for this loss?

The DET* library parts were unique to the USA version of Archicad since about version 7. I’m on my iPad now so can’t look for them…but as 2D parts with no macros or anything special… you should be able to extract the LCA from 27 or earlier and add the detailer folder to a 28 project. I think (?).
