I am trying to get some parameters to hide based on responses to other parameters.
Has anyone done this?
I have seen parts which use this, but I cannot find them now to see how it is set up.
Thanks

place your if statement into the parameter script
eg if parameter=xxx then hideparameter "yyy","zzz"
Note the quotation marks
eg if parameter=xxx then hideparameter "yyy","zzz"
Note the quotation marks

Can this be tested before using the part?
Can I activate the triggering event to see the parameters hide as a test?

An error will get picked-up in a check script, but even if the command is working the parameter will still be visible in the paramaters screen.

also, if you have nested parameters you only need to hide the parent parameter for the others to disappear
Cheers John
