I've read through the other threads that address this issue when the labels are tied to doors, windows, and walls, but I did not see anything about independent labels.
So does anyone know how to do this? Or are there other directional indicators with a number attached that might serve the purpose?
Thanks in advance.

mc0m:
I think the object Revision Indicator_NCS 11 (in 01 General 11 > Graphic Symbols 11 > Drawing Symbols 11 folder) will do what you describe. I tried rotating it in 45Ëš increments, and the text follows the angle of rotation.

I have attempted to use 2 types of labels (Window Marker triangle and Ident Device Ind). In both cases, I cannot get the triangle and text to point upside down.

Thanks y'all. I'm using the Revision Indicator now and it looks promising.
One thing I don't understand is that I have the text size set in this label to be 2. However, it's much larger than the text in another object with a text setting of 5.
I tried tweaking the original symbols by o.1 degrees and I was still getting (sometimes) the "refusal to flip" thing that I was seeing earlier. The quirky thing is that it would show correctly in the preview, but would show incorrectly in the plan drawing. And this is with the "Opposite Side" setting both on and off. On the other hand, sometimes it worked perfectly.
Anyway, thanks again for the help.
