At least for the way the first part is written, the quick and dirty way is to define a parameter to scale the symbol, (ie "scale") and then add the following:

MUL2 scale, scaleJust before the line in the 2D script that reads as follows:
IF gs_detlevel_2D=`Electric Symbol` thenAfter the very last line in the 2D script add:
DEL 1In the parameter table you will need to add the parameter "scale" and set the type to be a real number.
