hello everyone
i posted this subject again in october but i didnt get an answer so i post it again

when loading library parts some of my folders (especially these where my objects are) appear in the LOCAL/LAN tab inactive.
do you know why is that?
to solve this i go to stairs or objects and i load each one separately from file dialog box.

Just a guess:
Check the properties of those folders in Windows Explorer: some of them may be system folders or read-only folders or something like this.
I notice some of your folders are displayed in italic. That may also have some similar reason.

no 😞 its not that....
those folders were read only but also other folders that were read only didnt have problem so thats not it.
the folders you see in italics are shortcuts though

thanks anyway

I believe that Laszlo may actually be on to something.

What are the permissions of the folders and their subfolders? Better yet, if they are read only, or are owned by somebody other than the currently logged in user, or use some variant of Access Control Logic, then the first experiment is to completely rule out permissions. That is, you should make them completely read/write open --including sub directories and see if they are still grayed out.

You might wish to copy the contents of these folders somewhere else, Delete the folders themselves, recreate them and move the contents back. Maybe the operating system considers these to be opened by another program and is refusing to relinquish complete access.

Some ideas
