Line Thickness

Hello, I’m wondering if it’s possible to thicken a specific line or polyline without enabling True Line Weight?

Hi.

Short answer, no. Because disabling true line weight, you will see each line as a vectorial line (no matter how much you zoom in, it will still display as a hairline).

Another short answer, it depends... 🙂

We use a symbol line to make things visible, like fire resistance for doors.

Even when line thickness is turned off, the lines still have thickness based on the pen setting.

Turning thickness off just makes it easier to work with the lines on the screen.

it will not affect the output unless you print with hairlines as well.
