At first I thought it might be a sharing permissions thing within the finder, but that does not seemed to have helped.
I would like to use these parts, but I cannot figure out how to load them. Curious enough, if I double click on the part from the finder, the object is opened in Archicad. This is nice but does not allow me to use the part. Even after I reload the library from the Library Manager.
Help please.

AC Version? And do you have multiple versions installed?
A screenshot of what you see would also help.

VISTASP,
I am running numerous versions. I am typically between versions 12 and 13. It has been a bumpy ride for me on 13 so I have stuck with 12 as much as possible.
The screen shots are from 13, however, I get the same results in 12. You can see the "Test Windows" folder is completely missing from within AC.
It seems I can only attach one file, so I have posted two in answer to your questions.

I believe I found my error.
Sometimes it just takes asking a question before a solution can be found. Profound as that may be.
The library part being sought was actually a window part, not an object.
Thanks for your interest in helping in my dilemma.
