In office, we work on a project with an Archicad file that usually takes 1 min to load.
It is quite complex construction and that is why in every new edit (day), whoever works on, saves the file with a new name and writes some notes as a diary, to keep all previous files as backups.
Today I have noticed that the file takes a lot more time to load (7 min).
Searching the backup files I have found the "problematic file" but according to notes there were just some small solid element operations.
Clearing these operations nothing happens!
Is there a way to find where is the luggy part of my file?
When we load an ArchiCAD file, there is a pop up info box that says what is loading...
Does anyone know what the number 45 on my startup 's popup screen could mean? (attached pictures)
Sorry for my poor English....
Operating system used: Windows 11, ArchiCAD 26

It was the check box to store drawings in the file drawing selection settings pop up window!

How big is your embedded library?
And where do you store your files? I assume it's on a local NAS – which may add a lot of time depending on multiple factors.
I wonder why aren't you using Teamwork?

The libraries are exactly the same on both files!

You can always try an "Open & Repair" and see if that helps (:

Hope this helps....

Check to see if anyone has loaded in any external files to the project such as PDF or images placed on Layouts etc. If these are still linked in the Drawing Manager to the original source file on a shared drive (anywhere other than the local machine) it can cause Archicad to check the file is up-to-date and take a long time for the file to open.
We also found in the past that unchecking the 'Compress File' option when saving the file helps speed up the opening process.

There are no extra PDF or images placed on Layouts and the option "Compress File" is unchecked!
