Team,
I’m facing another issue where I can’t solve by locating the missing library part. I’ve taken the time to delete all the libraries from before AC28, so I only have the latest “Global Library”.
For some reason, I’m receiving four warnings from missing library parts in the” Library loading report”. These warnings all relate to railing elements that are missing from AC22 and AC26. I’ve tried adjusting the railing settings, but the missing libraries don’t appear anywhere.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can look to replace these elements? They’re not affecting my drawings, but I’d like to see the red dot in the action center or the warning not in the report.

Barry,
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I truly appreciate it. I understand your perspective, but I’m not sure why the issue persists. The Rails tool does indeed contain objects composed of other objects, and these objects can originate from different versions. However, I don’t receive any warnings from the library report or when I go to the Rail settings and scroll down to all the components. Surprisingly, I don’t see any missing objects, including only loading Global Libraries AC28.
On a positive note, I’m happy to inform you that the add-on has worked successfully. I can now use the railing on my favorites, and it correctly displays the pre-icon as it should, rather than just the top railing.
Therefore, I’m closing this ticket as SOLVED.
Thank you very much again.

Hi,
Maybe you have some old libraries in your favorites?

Thank you for your response CosminF. I don’t think so, but I might be mistaken. I’ll double-check. I didn’t encounter any errors before exporting the new build railing AC28 as a module because I had issues building the railing from the favorites. The problem manifested when I imported the new build railing module, and a warning appeared. I’m trying to figure out what went wrong. I’ll check if I have anything in the favorites but there were no errors before importing the module, and I only used five railing modules. If I resolve the issue, I’ll post the answer.

Those are version 22 & 26 objects.
If you just have the 28 global libraries loaded, these will be missing as you have seen.
You will also need to load all of the older migration libraries that include those 22 & 26 parts.
Or better, track down the objects in your model and replace them with the equivalent 28 objects.

Dear Barry,
Thank you for your response. I understand your suggestions, but I’m experiencing some strange behavior. I had no warning when using the Global Library because I had changed all of my favorites to the GLOBAL LIBRARY. However, I started to notice an issue when using the railings that I had previously saved in the FAVORITES, particularly with the panel section. I realized that when using the “transfer all settings” option, there was a problem. So, I thought I could create modules to place and reuse the railings when needed. After importing the module, I started receiving the warnings.
As suggested, I decided to rebuild the railing from scratch using AC 28 and replace the railing without loading the migration libraries. So far, I’ve eliminated all the warnings. I believe this was the easiest way to find a solution without loading the migration libraries. However, the placing or transferring of the settings to the railing persists, only with the panels.
I further report when/if I solve the transferring/using railings from the favorites which still has not been solved.

I think the issue with railing (and stair and curtain wall) favourites, is the railing is a hierarchical object - an object made up from other objects.
So if you are manually updating the favourites, you have to go through all of the railing settings to make sure it is only using version 28 parts.
If you use the favourite convertor add-on, I think it takes care of it all for you (I won't swear to that though).

Or just delete the old and create a new 28 favourite.
