Missing library part

Hi

I have a missing library part that is driving me nuts. I've searched far and wide for it and gone through all the various Find methods recommended in the Help guide to no avail.

Is there a way to force ARCHICAD to remove a warning? Or is there a way to "purge" unused Embedded objects in the model?

Okay, so you're going to need to find the "orange dots" (all 6 instances) in the plan and delete them. Do you know what this object is? (Like a window.)

As I suggested, you can create a new schedule for this object using the object name criterion, and use fields like "layer", "floor", etc. to help you locate these.

This is the schedule I created. I searched for all objects that contains "MX". It does not locate the offending object "MX-02"

Is there a hotlinked file that contains this object? If so, try searching that file directly.

No hotlinked modules
Then I'm out of ideas. Sorry.

No worries. Thank you for trying!

Schedules will not find objects placed in '2d' views, such as elevations, layouts, details etc

It can also be a favourite you have saved.

In stead of schedule, I would use Find & Select and go through the views of project to locate it. Remember to turn on all layers and show all renovation filters.

Thanks Erwin
I have dozens and dozens of views & layouts....I'd have to go through individually each one and Find & Select...?

OK.......indeed it was objects placed in 2D on an internal elevation by accident. There goes 2 unbillable hours..........

Hopefully ARCHICAD comes out with a simple button to locate missing objects..!

I don't understand why the 'i' button / More info... doesn't work. This should tell you where it is. It doesn't register things in plan view either, just tried it with saving a random item as object, placing in plan and elevation and deleting it.

For future reference, this is why I try to name objects something sensible that tells me what it is supposed to be. That generally narrows down the search.
